Why Body-Led Processing Works Well for Trauma & CPTSD?
Trauma is not only stored in memory — it is held in the nervous system and the body.
- Many traumatic and attachment experiences occurred before language fully developed.
- Attachment wounds are often stored somatically, not cognitively.
- The nervous system responds faster than conscious thought.
- The body remembers what the mind learned to avoid, suppress, or dissociate from.
Because this work is body-led rather than memory-forced, many clients notice that:
- They find it difficult to explain what changed — but they feel different.
- Behavioural shifts occur without conscious effort or “trying.”
- Previously processed memories do not resurface repeatedly.
- They feel more regulated, grounded, and emotionally stable between sessions.
Why Are Sessions Spaced Out?
Deep trauma processing activates physiological and emotional responses that require time to integrate.
Spacing sessions allows:
- The nervous system to settle and recalibrate
- Emotional material to integrate naturally without overwhelm
- Somatic and behavioural shifts to stabilize in daily life
- The body to release stored activation at its own pace
Processing trauma too frequently can overwhelm the system and lead to dysregulation rather than healing. The session structure and pacing are intentional, prioritising safety, sustainability, and long-term change over intensity.
What Modalities Are Used in This Work?
This is an integrative, body-led healing approach, drawing from multiple disciplines rather than a single modality.
Your sessions may include elements of:
- Nervous system regulation and somatic awareness
- Trauma-informed memory processing
- Body-led and client-guided somatic release
- Subconscious and emotional pattern exploration
- Breath work , grounding, and resourcing practices
- Attachment-focused and developmental trauma frameworks
While inspired by established trauma-informed principles, this work is NOT a clinical modality. Each session is guided by your body’s responses rather than forced recall or scripted protocols.
What Results Can I Expect and How Long Does It Take?
Every healing journey is unique, but results build progressively rather than all at once.
Programs range from 8 weeks (Tier 1) to 20 weeks (Tier 3), depending on the depth of work required. The first phase is dedicated to emotional mapping and pattern recognition — building the foundation and safety needed before deeper work begins.
Most clients begin noticing shifts early in the second phase, when the body-led trauma processing begins. By the midpoint of this phase, emotional shifts tend to become more visible — in how you respond to triggers, how your body feels, and how you show up in relationships.
The goal is not a quick fix. It is lasting, embodied change that doesn't require you to keep managing yourself.
What Happens In A Session — What Does It Actually Feel Like?
Sessions are guided, body-led and conducted at a pace that feels safe for you.
As the work deepens, clients often begin tracing the original wound — sometimes as far back as early childhood. Rather than revisiting memories intellectually, the body leads the way. Sensations become meaningful — tightness in the throat may point to a fear of expression, tension in the shoulders to years of carrying too much responsibility.
Each layer that surfaces reveals how much the body has been holding — and how deeply those early experiences have been shaping present-day life.
Most clients describe a profound sense of clarity — finally able to make sense of their own experiences and why they've felt the way they have for so long.
Are Payment Plans Available?
Yes. All program tiers can be paid in full or split into two instalments — 50% upfront and 50% the following month.
Full payment is also welcome for those who prefer to begin with complete financial clarity. Payment options will be discussed and confirmed during your discovery call.
How Are Sessions Conducted?
All sessions are held online, one-on-one via video call — so you can access this work from wherever you are. Body-led processing is proven to be effective when clients do the work from the comfort of their own space.
Who This Work May Not Be Suitable For
This work is not for everyone — and that’s intentional.
This approach may not be suitable if you are:
- Looking for quick fixes, bypassing, or surface-level mindset tools without engaging the body.
- Expecting weekly trauma processing sessions without adequate integration time.
- Seeking clinical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, or medical intervention (this work does not replace licensed medical or mental health care).
- Currently in acute crisis or requiring immediate stabilisation support.
- Not ready to take personal responsibility for your healing process outside of sessions.
This work is best suited for individuals who are willing to slow down, listen to their body, and engage in a paced, integrative healing process.
